ABOUT US The American Landlord Association was founded by Delphine Drake-Pecco in 2001. Mrs. Drake-Pecco, a landlord herself, was mistreated by her tenants, as so many landlords are. Until one day she decided that instead of making a bad situation worse, she would make it a positive experience. One that would lead her to begin an association geared to the protection of the rights of landlords. This nationwide association would help thousands of landlords realize that the only help we have is each other. And that association is the American Landlord Association.
Message from the President Delphine Drake-Pecco Welcome to the American Landlord Association's web site. ALA Provides Education Information and Services for its members. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month. Topics include but are not limited to Mortgage, Insurance, Tenant Screening, Indoor Air Quality issues, which affects real estate Investors and Landlords, as well as Mold issues, Property Management, changes in the law affecting Investors from Federal State and Local authorities. Speakers are represented from Municipal Departments which impact investors and landlords, speakers from local utility companies and from investors' networks. You will be able to interact with each other and receive free legal referrals. Like the commercial said, "an educated consumer is our best customer". Without education of our business we are lost. If you are not a member of this great association, we need you just as much as you need us. It's getting tougher & tougher to be a landlord. By joining ALA, you have a shoulder to lean on, because when it comes down to it, we are one big family. Please join today and tell your friends about us. Thank You! Delphine Drake-Pecco |
